Northern NSW Creative Mural Artist

Patrick INDO aka INDO the artist Photographed painting a whale mural for Blackfish Cafe in Crescent Head NSW. 


Patrick Indo is an Award wining artist, prolific Graffiti street Artist and represented gallery artist. His works have been featured in Magazines, on television screen, worked with high profile clients such as Red Bull, Sony BMG, ING Direct Bank and collaborated with one of Australian most iconic brands Vegemite. 

Patrick Indo started out as a Graphic Designer, working for Newspapers, Magazines, Small Design Firms, RSL Clubs and Television. When Patrick started to Freelance for Fashion Textile companies such as General Pants, Big W, Target and Advertising Agencies, his passion changed where he began to focus more on stencils and Art. Patricks encounter with a Talent Scout Kate Edwards gave him the confidence to pursue art as a full time career. 

The artist renaming himself as "INDO" the Artist, during his career he's works with high profile companies, in Sydney and Melbourne, painting murals, designing cool art for Merchandise, and art directing events and performing live art at music and charity events.

When it comes to recognition, INDO has performed live art for prestigious brands such as Monkey Shoulder whiskey, Sound Cloud, ING Direct Bank, The Rolling Stones Magazine & The Royal Womens Hospital in Sydney.  
INDO's competed and won Street Art battles, Coming Second Place out of 100 street Artists in the Tiger Beer Street Art Battle in Circular Quay 2013, He's been nominated for Australian of the Year in 2019 for his work with Northern NSW Mackleay Valley community, INDO's worked with Aboriginal Children in Kempsey NSW,  his works have been sold at Auction Houses, and is represented by one of Australia's most reputable Art collectors Berkeley Editions Sydney. 

As a Mural Artist he's influenced by Popular culture, social and fashion trends, his street art is more of a personal style blending grunge grime street art graffiti with bold solid cultural references and stencils. Because of his influence in Graphic Design, INDO paints in a variety of styles such as Modern Abstract, Landscape, Portrait, Australian Native Art and Pop Art.
INDO loves to illustrate in his home style favourite style inspired by Mexican Day of the dead and graffiti pop culture references. 


Currently INDO is working with schools in Northern NSW collaborating with teachers and school principles transforming school walls, stairs and toilets into positive bright happy spaces that encourage kids to be their authentic selves, celebrate their differences, and inspiring them with outstanding bright positive artwork.
